America Search and Rescue has started a program to provide equipment we obtain from federal agencies and other sources to smaller county and local agencies that lack these resources. So far we have received communication equipment, computer equipment, optics and other gear. We have seen so much resources be sold to the public for pennies when they can be re-used in the Emergency Service Industry, thus saving tax payers thousands of dollars. In addition, some of this excess equipment poses a great security threat to the United States by being sold at public auctions such as ebay that is available to the world.
